ALC aluminum oxide blasting media is a high-quality abrasive that's sharper than sand (not recommended) and cuts twice as fast. It leaves a smooth, textured finish with no pits or burrs. Aluminum oxide is tougher than glass bead and can be used over and over again—making it one of the most economical abrasives you can use in any reclaim system. This blasting media is available in fine, medium, and coarse grits; and comes in a variety of container sizes.

ALC abrasive blasting components are available to replace blaster nozzles, hoses, and other pieces you need to keep the media flying. Sandblasting is an all-inclusive term for various media (metals, plastic, corn, walnut shell, crushed glass, etc.) used in power blasting. And while this process does an excellent job of cleaning paint and rust off steel parts, all of the rough material being pushed at high pressures is hard on the equipment.
