aFe Atlas Exhaust Systems
Engineered to perform in the most extreme environments, aFe Atlas exhaust systems are constructed from mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing with high-quality band clamps and OE-style bayonet hangers. Where applicable, free-flowing aluminized steel mufflers are used to absorb high-pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing more horsepower and torque out of your rig. Atlas systems use factory mounting locations to provide a quick, hassle-free installation. Also included with some of these diesel exhausts are wrinkle-black powdercoated or polished 304 stainless steel tips with laser-cut stainless steel aFe badges. aFe Atlas exhaust systems are a tremendous combination of performance, fit, and value. Features include: * Leak-free 360 degree sealing * Stable pipe location in high-vibration and high-heat conditions * Bayonet tips hold hanger bushings in place for an OE-style fit * Large diameter tubing provides maximum flow * Smooth bends for low turbulence, increased horsepower and torque, and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) * Slash-cut tips with intercooling vents reduce EGTs at the tailpipe (some applications) * Available in a variety of configurations (varies by model) * Select systems include dual outlets and exhaust tips * Most do NOT fit cab and chassis models * Some models require tailpipe hanger modifications Notes: * Many of these are "Race Only" products solely for competition use.
