AEV offers Crestone DualSport onyx wheels for a variety of vehicles, including Chevrolet and Toyota models. The Crestone's split 6-spoke design gives it an ultra-modern look while providing drivers with the flexibility and versatility that AEV's line of DualSport wheels are known for. These dual-purpose wheels are beadlock-compatible for off-road use, as well as street legal with an interchangeable protection ring. All rings are available separately. Using no rings will offer you a simple, minimalist look. The DOT-compliant AEV Crestone DualSport wheels are made from heat-treated A356 T-6 cast aluminum for maximum strength and minimal weight. The JL/Gladiator Pintler onyx wheels combine timeless styling with the innovative features and off-road strength that you've come to expect from AEV Conversions. However, this is not just another one-size-fits-all aftermarket Jeep wheel. AEV designed the Pintler wheel specifically for the newest Wrangler because—despite sharing the same DNA as the Jeep JK Wrangler—many aspects of the latest generation Wrangler and Gladiator are quite different. AEV Conversions DualSport XT suspension kits focus on tuning and geometry to deliver added highway and trail performance in a 2.5 in. lift. AEV set out to specially tune coils and shocks that are unique to the needs of a lower system, resulting in frequency-tuned, triple-rate coils at all four corners and custom-tuned Bilstein shocks matched to the coils. They also evaluated the system for cornering and braking and determined that a new, geometry-corrected rear track arm tower would be needed to help create the kind of handling AEV suspension systems are expected to have. A custom rear track-arm, front stabilizer end link relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, and brake line relocation brackets round out the DualSport XT kits. After pioneering Geometry Correction Brackets back in 2010, AEV Conversions has raised the bar again with the industry's first Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets. Designed to correct the front-end control arm geometry on vehicles with 2 - 4.5 in. of suspension lift, these brackets improve ride quality by eliminating front axle 'precession' caused by uncorrected suspension lift geometry. The corrected motion allows the front tires to move up and rearward (as they did on the stock vehicle) in response to a bump rather than trying to 'lunge' over it. Additionally, they dramatically reduce front-end 'dive' during hard braking by relocating the 'virtual instant center' of the front suspension. They also provide alignment correction for proper tracking by restoring caster angle without the need for cam bolts or different/adjustable arms—plus a slight reduction in maximum front driveshaft angle during suspension travel. The stamping process provides improved strength while reducing weight, and the new keyed square caster blocks allow for easy "set it and forget it" adjustments rather than round cam bolts that can slip and require special fasteners. AEV's Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets are compatible with both JL Wrangler and Gladiator and are included standard with AEV's 2.5 in. DualSport RT Suspension System for JL Wrangler. For added convenience, all differential covers feature American Expedition Vehicles' exclusive oversized oil fill port located on the top of the cover. AEV Conversions ZR2 Bison rear bumpers are not just for good looks, they are designed to withstand all the rigors of off-road use and overland travel. They maximize departure angles, offer integrated tubular steel corner protection for the ZR2 bed, and to assist with vehicle recovery, they are equipped with heavy-duty cast aluminum recovery points for easy rigging of 3/4 in. anchor shackles. The factory step pad is retained and all trailer hitch, license plate lights, trailer plug, and spare tire winch access locations stay the same. Colorado ZR2 Bison rear bumpers also have provisions for two 3 in. square LED reverse lights to be mounted cleanly behind the bumper for added visibility when backing-up in the dark (mounting kit sold separately).
