AEM Unsealed Battery Management System Satellites

AEM unsealed BMS Satellites modules are connected to their Master via a high-speed serial interface (isoSPI), allow additional units to be daisy chained together to support numerous battery pack configurations, allows for custom battery packs, and integration into a sealed module. AEM unsealed Satellite modules are intended for installations into sealed custom battery packs, and the low-profile 90-degree connector allows for ease of packaging and service when installed into a sealed battery pack.

AEM Mini Master Battery Management Systems

AEM Mini Master battery management systems are comprised of three components: 1. VCU 2. BMS-18 Mini Master 3. BMS-18 Satellite(s) The BMS is implemented as two different module types: the Mini Master and the Satellite. Each module is capable of measuring up to 18 cells and three temperatures (thermistors), but the Master also contains the CAN communication interface and J1772 charging specific connections needed for each battery pack. The VCU communicates with the BMS via the Mini Master module and all battery packs need at least one Mini Master unit. The Satellites expand the capability of the Master by an additional 18 cells and three thermistors per additional Satellite connected. The Satellite modules are connected to their Master via a high-speed serial interface (isoSPI) that allows additional units to be daisy chained together, adding as many Satellites as necessary for the battery pack configuration. The VCU is responsible for all BMS control logic. All setup and calibration items can be modified using the AEMCal user interface. AEM Electronics Tesla Sport Large Drive Unit Control Boards

Install a Tesla Sport Large Drive Unit (LDU) in any vehicle—and achieve complete control with AEM EV's Sport LDU Inverter Control Board (P/N 30-8410) and an AEM VCU! This system provides full control of the LDU for programming torque curves, torque limits, regenerative braking, accelerator pedal response, drive-mode switches, and much more. The Tesla LDU currently comes in two versions, Base and Sport. AEM EV's Tesla Inverter Control Board acts as a VCU expansion device that replaces the stock Tesla ICB. Once connected to an AEM VCU using the supplied communications harness, calibrators can program propulsion strategies and characterize inputs through the VCU using AEMcal software. AEM EV's Sport LDU ICB was co-developed with Cascadia Motion, an industry leader in EV propulsion systems, to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability. NOTE: The Inverter Control Board must be used with an AEM Vehicle Control Unit for programming and controlling a Tesla Sport LDU. This system is designed for conversion and motorsports vehicles with Tesla Sport LDU swaps. It will not control a Tesla Sport LDU in a Tesla OE chassis.
