AEM 22-channel CAN sensor modules provide a way for users with carbureted vehicles to add an AEM CD digital dash display. They also let users with existing CAN-based devices add more channels to the display for viewing and/or data logging. These 22-channel modules convert analog, digital, and frequency inputs into an AEMnet CAN bus signal that can be transmitted to AEM's CD-5 carbon and CD-7 digital dashes. While most gas stations label their flex fuel as E85 (85 percent ethanol/15 percent gasoline), the actual content could be quite different. AEM sensors deliver the ability to determine the composition of the fuel blend pumped into your vehicle at any given time. They measure content percentage and fuel temperature allowing users with programmable engine management systems (capable of tuning for flex fuel) the ability to optimize their engine's tuning calibration for fuel ethanol content.
