ACCEL SuperStock 5000 Series spark plug wire sets are available in many sizes, styles, and colors to cover most any needs and vehicles. With only 500 ohms/ft. of resistance, more ignition energy can reach the spark plug, producing a longer-lasting, hotter spark flame kernel. The result is higher performance through improved efficiency, quicker throttle response, and reduced emissions. The wires feature silicone construction and are rated for 450 to 550 degrees F (depending on the set). The wire jacket resists moisture, chemicals, and heat extremes for longer life and great looks. ACCEL Truck Super tune-up kits have it all! Everything that you need to super-tune your pickup, van, or SUV is in there, including a custom-fit wire set, a distributor cap and rotor, and C-Cut performance spark plugs. Most kits include the 8mm Extreme 9000 wire sets, which feature a low-resistance Ferro-Spiral core and heat-reflective coated spark plug boots rated to 1,200 degrees F. Some inline 6-cylinder applications use the 5000 Series wire sets where extreme heat is not a problem. The distributor cap and rotor are precision-molded from impact-resistant, high-dielectric strength compounds and have brass or copper inserts (depending upon your application) and stainless steel contact springs.
