Performance Tool heavy-duty automatic center punches deliver a strong spring-driven strike when pressed against a surface by pushing down on the end of the handle. These punches provide a precise dimpled starting point to prevent drills and screws from wandering in metal, wood, or plastic. The amount of striking force can be adjusted from 13.50 lbs. and 32 lbs. by rotating the top end of the handle. The hardened S2 steel striking pin is replaceable for a long service life. These punches can also be used to break car windows in case of an emergency situation for quick exit from a vehicle.
