Weld Racing Magnum PRO gloss black wheels are a top-tier drag racing wheel designed for maximum strength and minimal weight, often used by Top Fuel and Funny Car competitors, but are also suitable for various drag racing classes. The Magnum PRO's utilize high-strength 6061-T6 forged aluminum centers and cold-forged aluminum rim shells to provide superior durability without the weight of cast alternatives. They feature a high-quality gloss black finish on the center, often paired with a polished lip for a distinct performance look. SFI certified for competition, they often exceed SFI 15.3 standards. These wheels are highly specialized for the strip, often requiring specific drag racing lug nuts. Standard rear wheel models often include an exclusive 18-bolt aero-design beadlock system, which provides superior clamping force to prevent tire slippage during high-torque launches. A non-beadlock alternative of the Magnum PRO is also available exclusively for use with a "liner" tire. The centers are forged 6061-T6 to handle the stress and power of the 10,000+ machines.
