Chevy Racing T-Shirt

If you participated in the original Cannon Ball Run from 1971 through 1979 (or just wish you did)—or, if you've been secretly planning to run your own Cannon Ball and break some records—then look no further. This is the shirt for you! In 1967, General Motors had a meeting to discuss the factory support and optimized parts needed for their various GM-sponsored Trans Am racing teams, including Penske Racing.

Initially, these racing parts were not meant to be sold to the public, but awesome events like the Cannon Ball Run were gaining traction—and Chevy saw the opportunity to sell them to a growing number of automotive enthusiasts who wanted the parts for their vehicles. And from that meeting, GM Performance Parts was born. The year 1970 saw GM's return to NASCAR, which put GM Performance Parts in the national spotlight. Pull on a legend, the Chevy Racing 100 percent pre-shrunk cotton tee!
