Overview

UMI Performance Delrin® Rack Mount Bushings

UMI Performance Delrin® rack mount bushings are built to tighten up steering response on select GM F-body platforms by replacing the soft, deflecting factory rack bushings with firm Delrin® (acetal) pieces. By reducing rack movement under load, these bushings help the steering rack stay planted during hard cornering, braking, and quick transitions, which translates into more immediate steering feel and improved on-center control. They are a smart upgrade for street/strip cars, autocross builds, and any intended model that is tired of vague steering caused by worn OE rubber. For performance builds where steering feel and rack stability are priorities, don't settle for anything less than UMI Performance Delrin® rack mount bushings.

Features include:

* Helps minimize steering rack deflection for improved steering precision and feedback
* Durable material resists deformation and holds alignment under load better than soft mounts
* Installation is quick and easy with normal hand tools
* New UMI-built, zinc plated sleeve for added convenience
* Genuine Delrin® construction
