TransGo Oversized Pressure Regulator Valves

TransGo Performance offers oversized pressure regulator valves for a variety of automatic transmissions that have worn regulator valve bores. These replacement valves are larger than the original part and are designed to be installed after the bore is reamed, restoring proper hydraulic control and fixing issues like low line pressure, harsh shifts, and slipping clutches.

What they do:

* Correct worn bores: The primary function is to repair damage from wear in the pressure regulator valve bore within the transmission pump
* Restore line pressure: By compensating for the wear, the oversized valve and new spring restore the correct line pressure needed for the transmission to shift properly
* Address transmission problems: Installing these valves can fix a variety of symptoms caused by worn bores, including:
-- Harsh or soft shifting
-- Torque converter clutch (TCC) slip

Installation process:

* The transmission pump bore must first be reamed to the correct size for the oversized valve.
