If you're replacing your gas cap or filler pipe, it is highly recommended that you change out this gasket. Secure your replacement fuel filler necks with Tanks Inc. filler neck gaskets. They are specially designed to reinforce the mounting of your Tanks Inc. filler neck and to prevent fuel from leaking past it and onto the outside of the tank. They are available in cork and neoprene.
