Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge 11R® 227 HD cylinder heads are the latest and most advanced evolution of the renowned Twisted Wedge® design. The heads have Manley Severe Duty 2.080"/1.600" stainless steel valves to handle higher cylinder pressures and stresses produced by big power adders. That allows you to unlock your small block Ford's full potential.

Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge 11R® cylinder heads come with all the premium features you've come to expect from this iconic design. The machined castings are not only stronger but also boast a billet-like appearance, enhancing both durability and looks. The combustion chamber and valve layout moves the intake valves away from the cylinder walls to reduce valve shrouding, significantly improving flow at higher lift. Shallow 11° intake/13° exhaust valve angles improve piston-to-valve clearance for high lift cams and reduce chamber volume for improved compression and efficiency.

High velocity runners are optimized on the flow bench and dyno proven to outperform the competition on hydraulic roller engines. The CNC Competition Ported runners premium high-resolution finish guarantees dimensional accuracy and balanced flow from port-to-port for all-out airflow and power. Two combustion chamber volume options allow you to tailor your engine’s compression ratio.

The Twisted Wedge 11R® 227 HD heads are fully compatible with stock pistons when using lower lift cams and any Twisted Wedge® specific pistons with up to .600" lift cams.

Cylinder heads are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Sold individually.
