This damper is designed to be used with a 1971 and later timing cover with the pointer on the driver side. If it is used with the passenger side pointer, it will be 90 degrees off. Pulley bolt holes are evenly spaced. If pulley with offset bolt hole is used, one bolt hole must be elongated.
