This tach adapter is designed to work with OEM electronic ignitions bypassing the stock module and aftermarket 2-wire magnetic pickup with an ignition box that has a tach output terminal. Also compatible with points, OEM electronic ignitions using the stock module, Unilite, and stand alone aftermarket magnetic trigger ignitions (with no ignition box).
