Summit Racing™ Automatic Transmissions combine quality and economy to offer replacement transmissions in many styles and options. This heavy duty 4L65E unit features all-new clutches, electronics and wiring, thrust washers, seals, bushings, filter, and extra wide bands, along with other performance modifications. Other features include a rebuilt front pump, a valve body modified for performance and high-quality seals and gaskets. You get all these impressive upgrades, along with reliable performance and extreme value. All transmissions are Dyno tested before they're shipped. Check out these features and benefits below
• All new frictions/steels throughout with 7 clutch 3-4 designed to withstand extreme stress and temperatures
• Includes redesigned 3-4 clutch piston return springs, that reduce centrifugal 3-4 apply and failure in 1st gear at 5500 RPM or higher
• Input drum reinforcement kit, to prevent breakage, that includes a new billet overrun apply piston
• New wide red 2-4 “power band” paired with brand new reverse input drum
• Redesigned Heavy Duty Sunshell that redistributes load off roller bearings
• Complete bushing kit with wide rear sun gear bushing
• Rebuilt valvebody with heavy duty shift kit, Allows full gear lever-controlled downshifts 3rd through 1st and manual 1st or 2nd gear to be held at any speed or RPM
• Corvette Servo upgrade, along with billet 4th apply piston and cover
• New Aluminum Trans. Pan with drain plug
