This hose is NHRA approved, however it is not recommended for fuel line use. For fuel-injected applications, we recommend upgrading to our Summit Racing™ PTFE or Premium Braided Nylon AN hoses, which are better suited for continuous exposure to modern fuels and fuel injection pressures.

Special Attention:

This AN hose utilizes a CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) inner liner, which is not intended to last indefinitely, particularly when used with fuel applications. Service life may be significantly reduced when the hose is exposed to excessive heat, routed near exhaust components or other high-temperature sources, used with high-ethanol fuel blends, or left unused for extended periods. Hoses should be inspected at least annually for signs of wear, cracking, hardening, swelling, leakage, odor permeation, or other deterioration. Replace the hose immediately if any of these conditions are present to prevent fuel leaks, fuel vapor emissions, and potential fire hazards. Warning: This hose is designed for low-pressure carbureted fuel systems only. Do not use this hose in fuel-injected applications, as the operating pressures exceed the hose's intended design limits and may result in hose failure, fuel leakage, severe vehicle damage, personal injury, or fire.
