Small-Diameter Light-Weight Duals such as SUM-174012DP-16 .050 out of bind or specially set up beehives .030 out of bind recommended. Ti Intake valve recommended for 7,500+ rpm operation. Min. .005 cold lash ok with .016 Int. / .018 Exh. Hot Lash most common.

Summit Racing Equipment® Pro SBC LS Firing Order Solid Roller Cams
Summit Racing Equipment® Pro SBC Solid Roller cams with LS Firing order are made with advanced cam lobe designs. LS Firing order increases bearing life through reduced harmonics and puts the firing pair closer to the water pump for increased resistance to detonation. Durations/LSA/Advance are valve event driven for consistent power and behavior. Lift is set for compatibility with most aftermarket heads or modified factory heads. Lobe intensity is aggressive without being hard on the valvetrain. These Spintron developed cams are stable at high-RPM with modern Beehive and lightweight small-diameter dual-springs. Cam and lobe quality is second to none starting with hardened bearing steel billets and grinding on a Landis 3L. By utilizing the LS firing order on a traditional small block Chevy improves the engine in several ways. The benefits include improved combustion chamber cooling for reduced detonation, more power and torque gains, better mixture distribution, along with reductions in vibration and bearing wear. Cams are precision ground in the USA on USA Billets! Order the cam for your application.
