S&S Cycle breather reed valve assemblies improve oil scavenging and reduce oil carryover. Plus, they'll make your bike run better. The steel breather reeds of these valve assemblies are normally closed. As they open and close again during the stroke cycle, a slight vacuum is maintained in the crankcase, greatly improving oil scavenging.
