Shafer's Classic Reproductions Block to Transmission Spacer Plate and Covers

Shafer's Classic Reproductions block-to-transmission spacer plates and covers (also known as engine-to-bellhousing separator plates) are steel backing plates that mount between the engine block and the transmission bellhousing. They ensure correct distance and alignment between the engine crankshaft/flywheel/flexplate and the transmission starter gear. The lower dust cover portion shields the flywheel or flexplate and starter teeth from road dirt, rocks, and mud. They're available for a variety of applications, including many Ford cars and trucks from the 1960s and '70s. Ideal for replacing rusted, bent, or missing original plates during vehicle restoration!
