Overview

Alpinestars Youth Karting Neck Supports

Alpinestars youth karting neck supports are specifically designed and developed for a fit that is specific to a youth rider's anatomy. The support frame is constructed from an injected polymer compound that's been impact-tested for performance on a range of off-road surfaces and varying temperatures. The frame has been ergonomically engineered to promote contact with the helmet during a crash—to act as an alternate load path, reducing the chance of muscular neck injuries from extreme head movement.

Key features of youth karting neck supports:

* Compact and easy-to-use lightweight neck protection fits most youth, 8 up to 14 years of age
* Overall frame construction dissipates energy loads by transmitting them across the back—thus, providing an alternative load path to reduce and help minimize excessive energy that compresses the neck
* Left and right rigid frames made from a polymer compound, in combination with the internal smooth-edged soft injected EVA, provide a perfect fit and stable positioning
* Flexible back connector between the left and the right frames allows the neck support to follow the body movement when riding
* Ergonomically designed and engineered shape for perfect fitment and engagement with A-5s and Alpinestars youth Bionic Action jacket (sold separately)
* Closure system allows an easy support commitment and can be quickly removed in case of emergency
* Available in different colors with the Alpinestars logo
