Includes hardened steel sleeve and inner overrun piston seal. Requires 1996 or earlier aluminum or Sonnax billet forward piston. Will not repair cracked drums.
Sonnax Input Drum Reinforcement Kits
GM 4L60, 4L60-E, 4L65-E. and 4L70-E input drum assemblies are known to crack where the input shaft is pressed into it (where the overrun clutch rides). Sonnax input drum reinforcement kits include a hardened steel sleeve that reinforces the input drum to prevent this failure. They also include a re-worked overrun piston inner seal, overrun piston, piston outer seal, and piston inner seal. No machining is required to use these kits.
