SpeedFactory Racing billet distributor cap deletes are CNC-machined aluminum plates designed for Honda® and Acura® engine setups that have been converted to a modern Coil-on-Plug (COP) ignition system.

* The problem they solve:
-- Factory Honda®/Acura® distributors (especially the igniters) are a known weak point that can fail and leave you stranded. Many enthusiasts convert to a COP system for better reliability and spark control. However, your engine's ECU relies on sensors located inside the distributor housing to know crank and cam positions. You cannot completely remove the distributor without losing these vital signals. Once you bypass the factory distributor's ignition duties and remove the cap, you are left with an ugly, open hole that exposes the internal sensors to dirt, moisture, and debris.
