Once installed, these gas hood struts offer plenty of space to work on your engine in the front of the engine bay. The included brackets are designed to provide extra support for the hood, and Steeda provides neoprene adhesive material to protect the paint on the underside of your hood with no metal-to-metal contact, to help prevent scratches.
