This distributor is shorter than the standard automotive GEN 1 Chevy engine distributor. It is specifically for the Chevy Marine 327Q engine. It is only 5.400 from the mainfold flange to the gear. lt replaces the oringanl Delco-Remy marine distributor, Mallory 9-26103, and Mallory YL566AV distributors.
