Dorman Engine Cylinder Deactivation Solenoids
Certain multiple displacement solenoids (MDS) have plastic housings and low-grade O-rings that fail in extreme heat. Dorman engine cylinder deactivation solenoids upgrade the plastic housing to aluminum and add premium, compression-tested O-rings to prevent premature failures. They include a new gasket and mounting bolt for a complete repair. Dorman engine multiple displacement system solenoids are application specific—made to directly replace the original MDS on certain Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep applications from 2005-09.
