Permatex Indian Head Gasket Shellac Compound
Permatex Indian Head Gasket Shellac Compound was originally developed as a hard-setting, economical gasket sealant. This coating is safe for use on all common gasket materials, even in extreme temperature and low pressure applications. Indian Head Gasket Shellac works in a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 350 degrees F (-54 degrees C to 177 degrees C), and also resists diesel fuels and most shop fluids.

* Suggested automobile applications: Hose connections, paper and cardboard gaskets
* Suggested marine applications: Hose connections, paper and cardboard gaskets
* For leak-proof gaskets and threaded assemblies, apply a thin, even coat to both parts. Allow to dry, then assemble. Resists water, steam, petroleum products, and antifreeze
