Pacific Performance Engineering Neodymium Filter Magnets

Pacific Performance Engineering offers neodymium filter magnets for a variety of applications, including many Chevy and GMC trucks from 2001 and up. PPE filter magnets and magnet-equipped filters use rare-earth neodymium to trap microscopic metal wear particles in automotive fluid systems.

* What they are and how they work:
-- Material: High-strength, nickel-plated rare-earth neodymium
-- Placement: Integrated directly inside PPE MicroPure engine oil filters or installed as external ring-style magnets around spin-on oil/transmission filters
-- Function: Overcomes fluid viscous drag to pull ferrous (iron/steel) wear particles out of suspension before they recirculate through the engine or transmission
-- Heat rating: Engineered to withstand high operating temperatures inside diesel and gas powertrains

* Key benefits:
-- Prevents premature wear: Captures microscopic iron shards that standard filter media might miss or that bypass during high-flow conditions
-- Prolongs media life: Keeps ferrous debris from loading up the filter fibers
-- Improves bottom-end protection: Popular for heavy-duty towing and high-mileage diesel trucks (Duramax, Power Stroke)
