When turning the key to start your vehicle, the sector gear turns the ignition rack assembly and activates the ignition switch. OER ignition switch actuator sector gears are ideal reproductions manufactured to factory specifications to replace non-functioning gears. These OE-style steering column components install directly behind the ignition switch on vehicles with tilt steering wheels.
