Chevrolet Performance LT5 6.2 Supercharged Long Block Crate Engines

Chevrolet Performance's expanding crate engine lineup offers something for every enthusiast and his dream project—including the powerful new LT5 6.2 Supercharged long block crate engine! The LT5 is based on the same Gen V small block architecture as the LT4 and LT1 engines, but with several unique features designed to support its higher output and the greater cylinder pressures created by forced induction. These engines include Rotocast A356T6 aluminum cylinder heads that are stronger and handle heat better than conventional castings; plus lightweight titanium intake valves and stronger forged aluminum pistons.
