Milwaukee PACKOUT Tap and Die Sets

Milwaukee Tools 38-piece PACKOUT tap and die sets include precision-machined threading accessories and the most versatile Hex-LOK 2-in-1 handle for the most common applications. Each set features 17 straight flute taps and 17 1 in. hex dies in your choice of SAE and metric sizes. They include long-lasting laser-etched sizing and a protective black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The Hex-LOK 2-in-1 handles combine the benefit of both internal and external threading within one handle by their compatibility with both 1 in. hex dies and the Milwaukee tap collet. The handle's ergonomic grip is designed to deliver ultimate user comfort while cutting threads.

All-metal construction allows for tool-free die and tap collet changes and is optimized for maximum balance and control when threading. The plug taps' square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches—and is designed for through-hole threading. The hex dies' 1 in. shape is compatible with the Hex-LOK 2-in-1 handle, as well as all standard 1 in. hex die stocks. These sets include accompanying drill bits for pilot drilling and are designed for use with drill drivers. Milwaukee taps and dies are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications, including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use with cutting fluid. Each 38-piece set is organized in a PACKOUT Low-Profile Compact Organizer and includes a removable storage tray for versatile storage.
