Sturdy yet lightweight, they are designed with multiple mounting positions to hold most 37 to 40 in. tires securely in place. MORryde's kits include an adjustable third brake light stalk that's visible over a 40 in. spare. The carriers mount directly to the factory tailgate, but if you wish to boost the strength of your tailgate, the carrier can be mounted to MORryde's tailgate reinforcement kit (sold separately).
