BluePrint Builder Series 598/741HP Standard Edition Carbureted Crate Engine and 4L80E Trans Combos

BluePrint Standard Edition Builder Series combos pair engine and transmission, eliminating guesswork, making it easier to gain the performance you desire. These combos match a carbureted GM big block-compatible 598 c.i.d. engine with a 4L80E automatic transmission enabling the production of an awesome 741 hp and 703 lb.-ft. of torque with a compression ratio of 10.5:1. They are available with a polished or black pulley kit. Select the one preferred.

BluePrint high-strength cast iron engine block:
* 4.600 in. bore
* 4-bolt main
* One-piece rear main seal
* Standard deck
* Mechanical fuel pump provision

Rotating assembly:
* BluePrint forged crankshaft
* Stroke: 4.500 in.
* Forged 6.480 in. connecting rods
* Forged pistons
* Internally balanced front and rear

BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads:
* 119cc chamber
* 2.30 in. intake/1.88 in. exhaust valves
* 358cc intake/125cc exhaust runners
* .300 in. raised exhaust port vs. an OEM casting
* Verify header/exhaust clearance

Hydraulic roller camshaft:
* .647 in. intake/.647 in. exhaust valve lift
* 258 intake/266 exhaust duration at .050 in. of lift
* 112 degrees lobe separation angle (LSA)

Ignition timing:
