Melling camshaft phasers (aka, sprocket actuators or variable valve timing sprockets) are constructed from high-quality durable steel and shipped with the mounting bolt that attaches the camshaft phase to the camshaft. Sprocket actuators adjust the timing of the motor to ensure that you get the engine power you need, when you need it. The actuator dials the timing back when you don't require the additional power, restoring fuel economy and maintaining engine efficiency. Melling replacement camshaft phasers meet or exceed OE specifications for precise fit and function in their recommended application.
