MechMan Indicator Light Harnesses
MechMan indicator light harnesses prevent the "check battery" light from coming on in the dash. Offered individually as well as supplied with all MechMan hairpin alternators for a range of GM trucks and SUVs, they accept oval GM alternator plugs. The longer blue wire gets connected to an ignition switched 12 V+ source to turn the alternator on and off with ignition and prevent the indicator light from coming on. MechMan harnesses can also be modified and hardwired to ignition 12 V+ for engine swap applications where the stock alternator harness is not available.
