For 1942 - 1954 Chevy trucks with Ford Explorer or Wilwood rear discs with internal drum brakes. Also fits 1987 and earlier Corvette rears. For 1988 or later Corvette and Wilwood disc brakes (with separate e-brake caliper), cables require a Wilwood clevis kit (sold separately).

Lokar U-Cut-to-Fit Rear Brake Cables

Lokar offers U-Cut-To-Fit rear brake cables for a variety of applications, including many 1940s and '50s era Chevy and GMC trucks. The cables mount from backing plates on the rear-end to the original cross shaft chassis. They're designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and the stainless inner cable resists moisture. Each kit includes two 4 ft. outer braided stainless steel housings that "U-Cut-to-Fit." This design allows rear-end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature two adjustable cable locks and clevis.
