Part will fit both case-fill and pan-fill transmissions. However, these models will only fit case-fill transmissions that feature the large bellhousing that accepts a 164-tooth flexplate. Not designed for transbrake operation. Please contact Hughes performance for the correct converter for transbrake use.
Hughes Performance Pro Competition 45 Series Torque Converters
All Hughes Performance Pro Competition 45 Series converters have a full needle bearing replacement of fiber washers. Special silicon spot brazing on top and bottom adds strength and reliability. Hughes installs a premium-built sprag assembly and a specially machined stator in these converters, giving you the performance edge you need off the line.
