Hastings Claimer Series Performance Piston Ring Sets
Hastings Claimer Series Performance piston ring sets are for builders wanting value without sacrificing precision and performance. They start with top rings made from proprietary shell-mold cast iron with plasma moly impact-resistant alloy, providing a hard, yet lubricating, low-friction structure. The plasma moly coating improves wear resistance, reduces scuffing, traps lubricating oil, and is compatible with a wide range of cylinder bore materials. The 2nd rings are manganese phosphate coated. Claimer moly top rings are torsional positive twist and the 2nd rings are torsional reverse-twist taper face. Completing the set of Moly Claimer Performance rings are Hastings Flex-Vent oil rings that minimize friction, improve flexibility, and provide high-rpm oil control.
