They produce up to 475 ft.-lbs. of torque—that's enough to get you rolling in a cloud of tire smoke!
ATK GM 383 Stroker 435 hp Stage 1 long block crate engine specs:
* Seasoned OE 4-bolt main roller block 1996-2000
* 4.040 x 3.750 bore/stroke
* 383 c.i.d. displacement
* Scat nodular iron crankshaft (3.750 in. stroke; one-piece; externally balanced rear/internal front)
* Scat 4340 forged I-beam connecting rods (5.700 in.) with ARP bolts
* Forged flat-top pistons with two valve reliefs
* Moly piston rings with 10:1 compression ratio
* Hydraulic roller camshaft with 220/224 duration at 0.050, 0.528 in./0.536 ex. Lift, 110LSA
* Installed camshaft bearings clocked to OEM position
* ATK HP aluminum 72cc/195cc 2.02/1.60 cylinder heads
* Installed and sealed brass freeze plugs (oil galley plugs also installed and sealed)
