They are manufactured from high-quality cast aluminum and bolt on easily with no modifications. The Holley replacement throttle base plates include a new throttle shaft assembly, throttle blades, and throttle linkage. If you've broken off an ear on your base plate, don't worry--just pick up one of these Holley replacement throttle base plates to solve the problem.
