General Altimax Artic 12 tires are a studdable winter tire featuring an innovative compound and tread pattern for superior traction in low temperatures on wet, snow, and icy road conditions. The Altimax Artic 12 tires feature strategically angled tread blocks with serrated winter sipes that provide excellent traction and braking capability in all directions on snow and ice. The high void angled grooves channel water away from the tire for added wet traction and aqua planning resistance. The tires contour has been improved for larger contact area and increased tread life. General Altimax Artic 12 tires are pinned for winter studs for those that desire extra ice grip.
