Garrett G Series turbochargers are powerful with small frames. With the "G" designating 81 years of Garrett heritage, these units feature the latest Garrett Advancing Motion technology, along with many advanced features and materials, allowing engineers to push the limits of performance.
Garrett G Series turbochargers feature:
* Compressor aerodynamics is engineered for maximum horsepower
* Fully machined ported shroud reduces compressor surge
* Fully machined speed sensor and pressure ports
* Forged, fully machined CFD-engineered compressor wheel increases airflow for better efficiency
* O-ring added between compressor housing and backplate to reduce the possibility of boost pressure leakage
* One-piece center housing and backplate increase durability and safety
* Turbine wheel constructed of Mar-M super alloy rated for exhaust temperatures up to 1050 degrees C
* Stainless steel turbine housings provide the ultimate durability and temperature resistance up to 1050 degrees C
* Oil restrictor and water fittings included
* Available in non-wastegated and internal wastegate options of standard and reverse rotation configurations
