Besides, who knows your Mustang better than the maker? These 8.8 in. IRS housings are fully loaded with forged, and CNC-cut gear sets installed. They feature strong cast iron topped with an aluminum differential cover, and, depending on the application chosen, a Torsen or Traction-Lok differential is included. If your automatic sees a lot of track time or your manual has a broken housing, your only choice should be genuine Ford Performance 8.8 in. IRS loaded differential housings.
