Enginetech Stage 4 Performance Camshafts
Enginetech Stage 4 Performance camshafts are aggressive, high-lift aftermarket camshafts designed primarily for classic GM small block Chevy V8 engines (such as the 283, 305, 327, 350, and 400 cu. in. motors) to maximize high-RPM horsepower and mid-to-top-end torque. The cams are available in hydraulic flat tappet or solid flat tappet models.
Key characteristics and specifications:
* Engine Compatibility: Fits small block Chevrolet V8 engines (1957–2002).
* Recommended RPM range: Typically optimized for a higher power band, often ranging from about 3,400 to 7,000 rpm
• Power band shift: Stage 4 grinds trade low-end idle smoothness and initial throttle response for substantial top-end pulling power. Expect a lumpier, more aggressive idle.
