There is a possibility that the distributor housing could interfere with the thermostat housing of your engine. Davis Unified ignition housings are made with a beveled edge and will allow the distributor to seat in the block with plenty of clearance. With Davis Unified Ignition thermostat housings you'll be cleared to install your DUI distributor!
