Overview

Diode Dynamics SS50 Pro LED SmartSelect Light Bars

Diode Dynamics SS50 Pro LED SmartSelect light bars are premium, heavy-duty 50-inch off-road auxiliary lights. They stand out for using patented Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics to eliminate light glare and wasted output, and for their SmartSelect technology which allows users to toggle modes and colors via simple power cycles.

Key features:

* SmartSelect dual-function main beam: Allows you to select between running only the inner light segments, the outer segments, or the full bar for maximum punch
* Multicolor backlight: SmartSelect models feature eight selectable colors (including a dedicated true amber chip) and a dynamic startup sequence, entirely controlled by toggling your existing power switch—no extra controllers needed
* Pro power level: The "Pro" tier features significantly higher light output and intensity compared to the entry-level Sport model
* Durability: Built with a rugged aluminum housing and IP69K waterproof rating
* Modular mounting: Designed for universal installation on roof racks, bumpers, or heavy-duty off-road rigs
* Available models: Depending on your specific off-road or auxiliary needs, the SS50 Pro SmartSelect is generally available in different beam patterns:
-- Driving: A slightly broad, combo spot that balances reach and width
-- Spot: Delivers intense, long-distance focused illumination
-- Flood: Provides a wide, even spread of light for close-range or work applications
