Overview

Diode Dynamics SS30 Pro LED SmartSelect Light Bars

Diode Dynamics SS30 Pro SmartSelect light bars are advanced 30 in. LED light bars engineered for off-road and automotive auxiliary lighting. They combine heavy-duty durability with patented optical technology and smart wiring-free control systems.

Key features and capabilities:

* Patented TIR Optics: Rather than relying on traditional reflectors, the light bar uses Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lenses. This focuses nearly all of the light forward into tightly controlled beam patterns, reducing glare and putting light exactly where it is needed
* SmartSelect main beam control: This patented feature allows you to cycle the power switch to change which segments of the bar illuminate. You can select just the inner sections, just the outer sections, or the full light bar without needing extra wiring or switches
* Multicolor backlighting: The bar includes a distinct, fully illuminated backlight. SmartSelect models feature eight selectable backlight colors (including a true dedicated amber) and a dynamic startup welcome sequence
* Selectable beam patterns: Available in various real-world beam profiles like Spot (for long-distance), Driving (for high-beam supplements), and Flood (for wide, low-speed area illumination)
* Built for extremes: The SS30 features an IP69K waterproof rating, a rugged aluminum housing, and durable copper circuit boards that efficiently dissipate heat
* Pro vs. Sport: The "Pro" tier features a noticeable boost in total power and light output compared to the baseline "Sport" model
