Denso Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors

Denso air/fuel ratio sensors (A/F sensors) were developed to measure air-to-fuel ratios under a wider range of driving conditions than oxygen sensors. A/F sensors, also known as wide-band oxygen sensors, send information to the engine management computer to make adjustments based on driving conditions. Their wider range and variable adjustments allow engines to burn fuel more efficiently and produce fewer emissions.
