D.S.S. Competition Engine offers FX-Series forged 2618 aluminum alloy piston and ring kits with XR wrist pins for a wide range of Chevy engine applications from the 1960s and up. The pistons are available in flat top, dish, and dome styles—in countless size and performance options. For your convenience, these sets include piston rings and XR wrist pins for a turnkey installation.

FX-Series forged 2618 alloy pistons will increase your horsepower potential without breaking the budget. Forged and machined with premium aircraft quality 2618 alloy, the pistons are a great choice for naturally aspirated, nitrous or boosted engines with the added strength from the internal gussets. Additional CNC milling removes material in non-critical areas to achieve a lighter weight for the perfect balance of strength, power, and longevity. FX-Series pistons feature the patented X-Groove skirt design which reduces damage caused by fuel wash down and break-in debris for superior skirt, cylinder, and ring life. For stroker engines, the advanced skirt design improves piston stability and ring seal which provides quieter operation. Order the set recommended for your year/make and engine application.
