D.S.S. FX-Series Forged Piston and Ring Kits with XR Wrist Pins

Pushing the envelope on your engine combination? Need parts that will stand up to the demands of today's power levels? DSS FX Series pistons increase your horsepower potential without killing the budget. Forged and machined with premium aircraft quality 2618 alloy with horizontal gas porting, these pistons are a great choice for naturally aspirated, nitrous, or boosted engines with the added strength from the internal gussets. Additional CNC milling removes material in non-critical areas to achieve a lighter weight for the perfect balance of strength, power and longevity. Kit includes a DSS XP piston ring set featuring gas nitrided steel top rings, Napier second rings, and flex vent oil rings.

FX Series pistons feature the patented X Groove skirt design which reduces damage caused by fuel wash down and break-in debris for superior skirt, cylinder and ring life. For stroker engines, the advanced skirt design improves piston stability and ring seal which provides quieter operation.
